NOTICE OF TRUSTEE VACANCY in Zone 1. The Board of Trustees of the Mackay Joint School District
declared a vacancy of Zone 1 on the morning of September 12, 2024 and is commencing the process to
fill this vacancy.
The individual selected to fill this term will serve the balance of the unexpired term, currently ending on
December 31, 2026.
People interested in the position should submit a letter of interest to the School Board no later than noon
Thursday October 24, 2024. Letters of interest should include the applicant’s address and phone number,
detail the applicant’s qualifications and reasons for interest in the position. Submit letters to the Mackay
School District Office, Attn: Board Clerk, P.O. Box 390, Mackay, ID 83251 or in person to the District
Office in the Mackay Jr/Sr High School at 400 E. Spruce St.
Candidates must be 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, an Idaho resident and a Zone 1 resident. For specific
