    Mackay School District Parents:

On March 23, the State Board of Education stated, "Given the current situation, the State Board of Education directs that all school districts and charter schools implement a soft closure through Monday, April 20. During this soft closure period, local districts shall follow national CDC guidelines pertaining to large gatherings and social distancing." The State Board has asked that we continue to facilitate essential services and student learning. They will reassess this timeline prior to the April 20 date.

Mackay School District will continue with its plan for student/parent pickup of Chromebooks, books, and assignments on Wednesday, March 25. After this, students and parents will be allowed in the buildings by appointment only. Please call the elementary school at 208-588-2834 or the Jr/Sr HS at 208-588-2262 with questions.

Thank you so much for your support and please contact the schools if you have questions. You are truly appreciated!
