1) High School Doors

CALL FOR BIDS – SCHOOL DOOR REPLACEMENT
Notice is hereby given that Mackay School District is accepting sealed bids from qualified,
licensed contractors for the replacement and installation of doors at Mackay High School,
300 Spruce, Mackay Idaho 83251


Scope of Work
The project includes furnishing and installing the following:
 23 interior classroom doors
 4 bathroom swinging doors
 3 interior office/closet doors (no windows)
 Two sets interior double doors one set with windows and one set without
 Four sets of exterior doors with windows


Mandatory Pre-Bid Walk-Through
A mandatory pre-bid walk-through will be held:
Date: March 13, 2026
Time: 9:30 am
Location: Mackay High School, 300 Spruce, Mackay Idaho 83251
Attendance is required. Bids submitted by contractors who do not attend the mandatory
walk-through will not be accepted.


Code Compliance
All doors, hardware, glazing, and installation shall comply with Idaho Code, applicable
International Building and Fire Codes as adopted by the State of Idaho, ADA accessibility
requirements, and all regulations governing public school facilities.

Sealed bids must be received no later than:

Scope of Work
The project includes furnishing and installing the following:
 11 interior classroom doors
 12 exterior classroom doors
 3 bathroom swinging doors
 3 interior office/closet doors (no windows)
 Interior double doors one set with windows
 Two sets of exterior double doors with windows

3) Re-coating Shop Roof

INVITATION TO BID
Re-Coating of Shop Roof – 70' x 80' Steel Roof

Mackay School District is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and insured roofing contractors
for the re-coating of a 70-foot by 80-foot steel shop roof located at:

Project Location:
400 Spruce, Mackay ID, 83251

Scope of Work

The project includes, but is not limited to:


Cleaning and preparation of existing 70' x 80' steel roof surface
Removal of debris, rust treatment, and necessary surface preparation
Sealing of seams, fasteners, and penetrations
Application of appropriate primer (if required)
Application of commercial-grade elastomeric or approved equivalent roof coating system
Final inspection and cleanup

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits (if required), and supervision
necessary to complete the project in a professional and workmanlike manner.

Contractor Requirements


Must be licensed and insured
Provide certificate of insurance upon request
Provide manufacturer specifications for proposed coating system
Include warranty information (material and workmanship)
Provide at least three references for similar completed projects

Mackay School District 182 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities
