Bear Bottom Inn Scholarship (04/24/23)

Applications are due by Monday, April 24, 2023 to Mrs. Hulse. Applicants must be a graduating senior of Mackay High School and are planning to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school.
Criteria: Both are required

Write an essay on what you believe to be the three most important skills/qualities you need in order to be successful in life. Must be no less than one page but no more than two pages in length. Typed or neatly printed. The essay will be judged on proper use of grammar, content, spelling, punctuation, and creativity.

Draw/design/paint/create a picture that the Bear Bottom Inn can use as their logo for the year. Any-and-all media and artistic styles are allowed. The picture created must include something related to Mackay (i.e. Mt. McCaleb, Mackay Miners emblem, agriculture, etc.) AND something related to The Bear Bottom Inn Motel and Restaurant (bears, food, beverages, etc.).
The recipient of this scholarship will receive $500 toward their tuition or books during the second semester of school, as well as a t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt of their choice with the logo they drew on it.
This application must be anonymous to staff at the Bear Bottom Inn. Please put your name at the top of your application and Mrs. Hulse will assign your application a number.
